Project description

The CIPnet project is implemented in China as a Joint action and its general objective is promoting the modernisation and harmonisation of Intellectual Property Management practices in the higher education system, with a view to enhance university-industry collaborations and contribute to economic and social development.


Due to the coronavirus outbreak in China, the China Intellectual Property Management Network (CIPnet) Launch Event has been postponed from its scheduled date – April 2, 2020. Tentatively, the Launch Event has been rescheduled for late May / early June 2020. Please check our website for updates. The Event will be hosted by Southwest University in Chongqing, P.R. China.

On November 7-8, 2019, the third Training of Trainers took place in Tianjin, P.R. China. The topic of the Training was Technology Transfer for Sustainable Development — Contracts and the Triple Helix. The Training was organized and hosted by Nankai University School of Law.
