The CIPnet project is implemented in China as a Joint action and its general objective is promoting the modernisation and harmonisation of Intellectual Property Management practices in the higher education system, with a view to enhance university-industry collaborations and contribute to economic and social development.


We are pleased to inform that the first CIPnet Online Workshop is now available on the CIPnet Online Training platform!

The topic of the first Workshop is “Licensing IP Rights. Focus on Universities”. The Workshop consists of three units:

- Unit I – Licensing and Universities: offers a brief explanation of possible ways of transferring and acquiring knowledge in academic environment

The third CIPnet Training of Trainers is scheduled to take place in Tianjin, P.R. China, on November 7-8, 2019.

The topic of the Training of Trainers Event is Technology Transfer for Sustainable Development - Contracts and the Triple (Quadruple?) HelixThe programme will consist of workshops delivered by trainers from the CIPnet partner universities – Maastricht University (the Netherlands) and the Jagiellonian University (Poland). The detailed programme of the Training is attached (in English and Chinese). The working language of the event is English.

The event will be hosted by Law School of Nankai University.
